An unconscious and unidentified person was found at Happy Valley near MES water pump, Wahumkhen on February 23, but he was declared dead at the hospital when he was taken there.
East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police, Rituraj Ravi said that the man aged between 30 to 40 years was wearing a blue sweatshirt, blue with white line sweater, black vest and blue shoes.
Inquest and other legal formalities were completed and the unidentified man was kept at the Shillong Civil Hospital for identification and claim.
