Police have arrested one person accused of sexually assaulting three minor children in the state.
Incidentally, out of the three, two were his own sisters and another was a neighbour and all were below 16 years at the time when they were raped.
According to sources, the accused committed this crime during the Covid-19 pandemic period.
Two separate FIRs were lodged by the family members of the victims against the accused.
The accused was arrested under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.
