The dust over the controversial CM Impact guidebook seems to have stoked nerves amongst certain sections of society including academicians. Ever since its controversial launch and even after the ‘successful’ pass percentage achieved by the state education board there are arguments that the students who passed were just ‘pushed over’ or given leniency in the grading of marks to highlight the successful completion of the tenth examination.
Such assumption defies and defeats the hardwork of students and not because of the so-called guidebook or any other matter however opinion may differ. The successful pass percentage must not belittle the efforts put forward by the teachers and students there maybe some who did not use the CM Impact guidebook whereas some may have used it and it does not mean to say that there was manipulation to project higher pass outs. At least the initiative undertaken had helped a number of students to go through their respective subjects. This matter should die down and acknowledge the best efforts by this government under the present CM.
