Laban Bengalee Boys Higher Secondary School (LBBHSS), Shillong defeated All Saints Higher Secondary School in the Under-18 inter school cricket tournament held today at the Polo Grounds, here.
The school scored 132 runs in 15 overs after losing four 4 wickets. In return, All Saints scored 107 after losing eight wickets in 15 overs.
Dipankar Barua who scored 86 runs in 46 balls was declared Man of the Match.
The school said it is a moment of pride as LBBHSS is celebrating its Centenary year and besides emerging victorious in the sport its students bagged the top spots in the recently declared HSSLC ( Science & Commerce) results.
