The Sports Committee of the KSU South West Khasi Hills felicitated Kisstarlin Wanniang, a prominent Football and Futsal referee from the district, for his contributions to the sport.
Wanniang had officiated at numerous National-level Futsal and Beach Soccer tournaments, earning him a reputation as a distinguished referee in the field.
In 2022, Wanniang was selected to referee at the prestigious All India Futsal Clubs Championship in New Delhi. In 2023 he was chosen to officiate the Hero National Beach Soccer Championship at Dumas Beach in Surat, Gujarat.
Wanniang continued to excel in his field and was again selected this year to referee at the All India Futsal Clubs Championship in Vadodara, Gujarat.
The KSU congratulated him and hoped that his dedication and skill will continue to bring honour to the region and inspire the local community.
