The Chairperson, Provisional Town Vending Committee & Chief Executive Officer, Shillong Municipal Board has urged eligible vendors for Khyndai Lad area to collect the Certificate of Vending (COV) from the office during working hours.
The committee has completed the in-situ survey of street vendors in the area falling within the Shillong Municipality as mandated by Section 3 (1) of “The Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014” and in accordance with “The Meghalaya Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Schemes 2023”, a press release said.
