Anti-narcotics police in East Khasi Hills today apprehended what they described as an “infamous drug trafficker”, who was identified as Aiyesha Khatoon, alias Pahari, at the Inter State Bus Terminus in Mawiong.
She was carrying three soap cases containing 37.28 grammes of heroin, police said in a release. A case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act has been registered against Khatoon at Mawlai police station.
