Three months after heavy rains wreak havoc and caused destruction to the Jakrem hot water springs, the management team has announced its reopening.
Infrastructure at the tourist spot in South West Khasi Hills was severely damaged as it was submerged by the Phot Umjarain river this year.
Bungsing Sohphoh, managing the hot springs said the place will reopen from tomorrow. He said repair works took a lot of time despite shortage of funds.
