The Hynñiewtrep Integrated Territorial Organisation (HITO) has filed an FIR at Rynjah police station over the unsanitary condition of an establishment that sells food.
The complaint stated that HITO, along with representatives of the Dorbar Shnong, carried out an inspection of trading licences in the area under Rynjah police station yesterday. During this inspection, they came across a shop called Rajshree, which the pressure group claims displayed “alarming” sanitary conditions.
“We found the establishment to be in an unacceptable state of cleanliness, raising significant health concerns regarding the food being prepared and sold there,” the FIR stated.
HITO also alleged that the shop owner is running the establishment without a trading licence and does not possess documentation for the workers employed there.
