Women from economically weaker sections have been invited to apply for free LPG connection under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) 3.0 scheme.
The East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner (Supply) in a statement said that the Government of India through the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has approved for release of additional free LPG connections throughout the country.
The DC said all deserving families can visit and apply for free gas connection directly from any nearest gas agency within the district. The last date for submission of application is December 31.
