A fire engulfed a house in Tynnai village, located in the South West Khasi Hills.
According to T Jyrwa, the Myntri of Tynnai, the fire broke out around 6pm. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The fire spread due to burning coal.
The house that was destroyed belonged to Bada Jyrwa and the estimated total loss from the fire amounts to around Rs 3 lakh.
