A pickup truck driver coming down the wrong side of the highway rammed into a truck on Friday, killing him.
The accident took place in Wapung along the NH 6 in East Jaintia Hills district.
The victim was identified as Lando Shylla.
According to police, Shylla was driving his pickup truck (ML11-6931) on high speed on the wrong side of the highway when he rammed a loaded truck (AS 01 LC 5896) driven by one Samir Malakar of Agartala, who was on his way from Lumshnong to Guwahati.
