There were three new Covid-related fatalities recorded in Meghalaya today, along with 20 new cases and 44 recoveries.
The three fatalities were in East Khasi Hills. The health department said all of the victims were unvaccinated.
All the new cases are recorded in East Khasi Hills alone.
There are now 308 active Covid-19 cases in the state. East Khasi Hills alone accounts for 245 active cases, West Khasi Hills 18, West Garo Hills 15, East Garo Hills 11, West Jaiñtia Hills nine, Ri Bhoi eight and East Jaiñtia Hills two.
In all, Meghalaya has had 84,414 Covid-19 cases, of which 308 are active, 82,635 have recovered and 1, 471 have died from the virus.
