There were 89 new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today along with 85 recoveries and no fatalities.
There were 21 new infections in East Khasi Hills, two in East Garo Hills, four in East Jaiñtia Hills, zero in Eastern West Khasi Hills, zero in North Garo Hills, three in Ri-Bhoi, two in South Garo Hills, nine in South West Garo Hills, zero in South West Khasi Hills, 47 in West Garo Hills, one in West Jaiñtia Hills and zero in West Khasi Hills.
East Khasi Hills accounted for 21 recoveries, East Garo Hills zero, East Jaiñtia Hills one, Eastern West Khasi Hills five, North Garo Hills zero, Ri-Bhoi six, South Garo Hills seven, South West Garo Hills four, South West Khasi Hills zero, West Garo Hills 38, West Jaiñtia Hills zero and West Khasi Hills three.
There are now 676 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills eight, East Jaiñtia Hills 13, East Khasi Hills 102, Eastern West Khasi Hills one, North Garo Hills 15, Ri-Bhoi 25, South Garo Hills 25, South West Garo Hills 39, South West Khasi Hills zero, West Garo Hills 417, West Jaiñtia Hills 29 and West Khasi Hills two.
In all, Meghalaya has had 95,547 Covid-19 cases, out of which 93,265 have recovered and 1,606 have died from the virus. There are 47 patients being treated in hospital with the disease – 33 in East Khasi Hills, one in East Garo Hills, two in Ri-Bhoi, six in West Garo Hills and five in West Jaiñtia Hills.
