There were 21 new cases of Covid-19 recorded in Meghalaya today, along with 31 recoveries and no fatalities.
East Khasi Hills recorded 18 new cases, East Garo Hills two and West Garo Hills one.
East Khasi Hills also accounted for 26 recoveries, with two in West Khasi Hills and one each in East Garo Hills, East Jaintia Hills and Ri-Bhoi.
There are now 280 active Covid-19 cases in the state. East Khasi Hills alone accounts for 202 active cases, East Garo Hills 20, West Garo Hills 18, Ri-Bhoi 13, West Khasi Hills 13, West Jaintia Hills 10, East Jaintia Hills four, South Garo Hills zero, South West Garo Hills zero, South West Khasi Hills zero and North Garo Hills zero.
In all, Meghalaya has had 84,241 Covid-19 cases, of which 280 are active, 82,494 have recovered and 1,467 have died from the virus.
