There were 18 new cases of Covid-19 recorded in Meghalaya today, along with six recoveries and no fatalities.
There were 10 new infections in East Khasi Hills, five in Ri-Bhoi, two in West Garo Hills and one in West Jaiñtia Hills.
Two recoveries were in East Khasi Hills, two in Ri-Bhoi and two in West Garo Hills.
There are now 115 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Jaiñtia Hills one, East Khasi Hills 56, Ri-Bhoi 20, South West Garo Hills one, West Garo Hills 32 and West Jaiñtia Hills five.
In all, Meghalaya has had 94,146 Covid-19 cases, of which 115 are active, 92,436 have recovered and 1,595 have died from the virus. Eleven patients are being treated in hospital with the disease – nine in East Khasi Hills and two in Ri-Bhoi.
