On the occasion of National Voluntary Blood Donation Day police personnel in Ri-Bhoi gave blood at the blood donation centre of Nongpoh Civil Hospital here.
Superintendent of Police Jagpal Singh Dhanoa, other officers and other ranks participated in the blood drive.
Nongpoh police station officer in charge Michael Marak said that the police are very happy to be involved in the initiative by donating blood and asked the public to do so as well.
