Coal traders in South West Khasi Hills district has decided to change the name of the Meghalaya Mine Owners & Exporters Association (MMO&EA) to “South West Khasi Hills Mine Owners & Exporters Association”
The decision was taken at a recently held general meeting of the association held at Nonghyllam village in the district.
The association said that mine owners and exporters from Borsora, Cherragoan and Bagi of the Borsora land custom station are included in the renamed association.
The association also elected JC Diengngan as president, Rakesh D Shira as vice president, SF Nongbri working president, Grelius Marwein and Ojoy A Sangma general secretaries other office bearers and 22 members.
