Shillong, May 1: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma was today felicitated in recognition of the state government’s landmark and historic milestone to the introduction of the Structured Pay Framework (SPF) and enhanced service protection and financial stability for SSA and 4th Teachers in Meghalaya.
The event was organised by the Meghalaya SSA Schools Association Central Body and Meghalaya 4th Teachers.
Sangma noted that addressing the complexities of the issue required concerted efforts from various stakeholders. He praised the commitment and perseverance of the organisations, whose contributions have culminated in a structured pay framework.
He urged educators to focus on their students, emphasising the role of education in driving transformative change and growth within the state. Sangma reaffirmed that education remains a top priority for the government, underlining the importance of recognizing and respecting the invaluable services provided by teachers.
