A newly constructed classroom was inaugurated in Mawlong village today as part of an initiative, supported by the office of the Chief Minister and facilitated through the Mawpat Block Office, to provide free education to underprivileged children.
The inauguration ceremony saw children and village elders together cut the ribbon, marking the commencement of classes.
The event was attended by parents, community leaders and well-wishers, along with students and representatives from local colleges. Local leaders and community members expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the realisation of this long-cherished dream.
