A conglomeration of pressure groups have written to the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) to request that a new committee be elected for the Garobadha Bazaar as the term of the current body has expired.
Stakeholders want to elect new representatives as president and secretary. In the past there was “no transparency” in the selection, they alleged.
