A weapon and photo exhibition was organized by the Border Security Force (BSF) in Tura of West Garo Hills district today.
The programme was organised as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration where the latest defence weapons and equipment used by BSF to thwart anti national elements were displayed in the district library auditorium at Ringre.
A large number of locals and school students attended the exhibition to get a glimpse of the modern weapons. During the event, the children were thrilled to have a close look on these weapons and to know about the arsenals of the BSF.
West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Swapnil Tembe was present as the chief guest.
