Thirty rural, unemployed youths completed a 60-day skill development training project on masonry and were today provided with certificate, tools and basic safety personal protective equipment.
The free training programme was organised by the Dalmia Bharat Foundation through its CSR initiative in collaboration with NABARD.
It is hoped that the participants will then be able to find employment in the construction industry.
A certificate distribution programme was held at Khliehriat West community hall where participants expressed to the organisers for giving them opportunity to learn the skills in masonry.
