An infant baby girl was found abandoned at Krem Shohnoh, Mukhla near Ummulong CHC in West Jaiñtia Hills today.
The baby is now under the care and protection of the District Child Protection Unit and Child Welfare Committee in Jowai.
The office has urged any person or relatives having information to contact the office of the District Child Protection Unit (9774878343), Child Welfare Committee (9436566556) or the specialzed Adoption Agency Caroline Colony (6009972453) to claim the baby within 60 days before she is declared legally free for adoption.
