Meghalaya added another 189 new Covid-19 infections today, along with 75 recoveries.
East Khasi Hills saw its active cases count go up to 711. The district recorded 137 new cases (including 23 returnees, 10 health workers, nine armed forces personnel, nine in Pohkseh Central and eight in Madanrting).
There are now 898 active Covid-19 cases in the state. West Garo Hills 81, Ri-Bhoi 58, West Jaiñtia Hills 15, West Khasi Hills 11, East Jaiñtia Hills seven, South West Khasi Hills nine, North Garo Hills two, South Garo Hills three, East Garo Hills one and South West Garo Hills zero.

In all, Meghalaya has had 85, 985 Covid-19 cases, of which 83, 597 have recovered and 1,490 have died from the virus.
