The Shillong unit of the right-wing students’ organisation Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) gave out its ‘U Tirot Sing Best Student Awards 2024’ here today.
Dignitaries present included Union Minister of State Pabitra Margherita, descendant of U Tirot Sing, Kestonbel Manik Syiemlieh, and ABVP state president CA Sashan Khongthohrem.
More than 150 school toppers from the 2024 SSLC and HSSLC examinations were felicitated. These students, representing various institutions across Shillong, were recognised for their outstanding academic achievements.
