The Indo-Bhutan Friendship Quiz competition was conducted on Saturday at RHA Umroi Mil Stn.
The event aimed to encourage and promote awareness and appreciation of the longstanding friendship between India and Bhutan through engaging and educational platforms. It was organised and hosted by Col Vembu Shankar, renowned quiz master and Indian Army veteran.
The participating schools were Army Public School Umroi, Army Public School Happy Valley, MeECL Secondary School Umiam, Army Public School Shillong, PM Shri Umroi Cantonment and PM Shri KV NEPA.
The participants displayed knowledge revolving around Indo-Bhutan relations, current affairs, general knowledge, science, arts, sports and literature.
After a series of challenging rounds, Army Public School Happy Valley emerged as winners, followed by PM Shri Umroi Cant in second and PM Shri KV NEPA in third.
The chief guest for the event was Tanuja Shekatkar, chairperson 24 Mtn Bde, who congratulated the winners and applauded the efforts of all the participants.
