The Jaiñtia National Council (JNC) has condemned the murder of a farmer in Lapangap village and demanded justice for the victim.
Members of the JNC, Western Zone and leaders of the central body met with the family of the victim, Tellme Talang and waheh shnong Deimonmi Lyngdoh. They also visited the Nartiang police station and urged police to nab the culprits responsible for the heinous crime.
According to the JNC it is suspected that the perpetrators of the crime are not from the village.
