The Reserve Bank of India, Shillong today conducted the block level quiz of the All India Quiz on Financial Literacy 2023 for the students in classes VIII-X for the blocks of East Khasi Hills District.
Around 13 schools participated in the quiz. The winners were felicitated with the distribution of trophies and participation certificates were issued to all the participants. The winners, first and second runner up were also awarded with cash prizes of Rs. 5,000, Rs. 4,000 and Rs. 3,000 respectively.
The quiz was conducted with a motive to give further impetus to financial literacy efforts and fulfil the vision of creating a financially aware and empowered India. The topics related to banking/financial sector and economies, including G20 were covered in the quiz.
The winners from the respective blocks will compete at the district level and the quiz will culminate at a National level quiz after various levels at District, State and Zonal level.
