Members of Geetali, a sociocultural organisation based in Laban, held a condolence meeting on Thursday following the sudden demise of Rajat Tarat, who passed away on May 1.
Tarat, son of RK Tarat, was a founder member of the club and was the current executive member and administrator of its Facebook page.
He was also described as having a “pleasant, enthusiastic personality and artistic and high quality performances” as well as great insight and vision.
Members present at the meeting offered a floral tribute and observed two minutes silence in memory of the departed, while glowing words of praise were spoken of Tarat by senior Geetali members.
