The Deputy Commissioner (Election), South West Khasi Hills District, Mawkyrwat has informed that photo voters slip will not stand alone as a document during voting and EPIC on the day of poll is mandatory.
In case a voter misplaces or lose the EPIC other alternative documents can be use for voting. These are Aadhaar, MGNREGA Job Card, Passbook with photograph issued by Bank/Post Office, Health Insurance Smart Card issued by under the Scheme Ministry of Labour, Driving Licence, Pan Card, Smart Card issued by RGI under NPR, Indian Passport, Pension Documents with Photograph, Service Identity Cards with a photograph issued to employees by Central/State Government/PSUs/Public Limited Companies, Official Identity Card issued by MPs/ MLAs/MLCs and Unique Identity ID (UDID) Card.
