Fear gripped Khliehriat and Ladrymbai in East Jaiñtia Hills district after the Mukroh firing incident.
The two areas are the most active business hubs in the district. However a tense atmosphere was witnessed here as shops and business establishments were closed since yesterday till today amid fear of violence.
Members of KSU and FKJGP had yesterday tied black flags in these two areas as well as other parts of the district to express solidarity with the Mukroh victims. No incident was reported.
