There were 41 new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today, along with 46 recoveries and one death.
The lone fatality was recorded in Eastern West Khasi Hills.
There were 19 new infections in West Garo Hills, East Khasi Hills nine, South Garo Hills four, Ri Bhoi three, East Jaiñtia Hills and South West Garo Hills two each, one each in East Garo Hills and South West Khasi Hills.
West Garo Hills accounted for 12 recoveries, East Khasi Hills 12, Ri Bhoi five, East Jaiñtia Hills four, South Garo Hills four, South West Garo Hills three, North Garo Hills two, West Jaiñtia Hills two, Eastern West Khasi Hills one and West Khasi Hills one.
There are now 510 active Covid-19 cases in the state. In all, Meghalaya has had 96, 134, out of which 94, 011 have recovered and 1,613 have died from the virus. There are 47 patients being treated in hospital with the disease – 28 in East Khasi Hills, 12 West Garo Hills, West Jaiñtia Hills four, one each in Ri Bhoi, South Garo Hills and South West Khasi Hills.
