About 281 students from 10 schools from grassroot Jowai centre participated in the talent identification programme conducted at Kiang Nangbah Indoor Stadium in Ladthadlaboh today.
Students participated in the event like 20 M Sprint, 10 M ladder run, Compass Drill and vertical jump.
Organised by the Meghalaya State Olympic Association (MSOA) and Department of Sports and Youth Affairs the programme is implemented by Edge 10 Group.
The event was supervised by Ian Cambell, the Australian Olympian and Alistar Tail, International Global Coach.
Cambell expressed his gratitude to the MSOA working president, John F Kharshiing and the District Sports Officer for making the day possible and extended his best wishes to the participants.
