A photograph of a man being tortured is going viral over the internet. The photo shows a man tied to a signboard of the Shillong Law College in the city being held by a person from his hair. The time of the incident is still not particularly clear.
After seeing the viral photo, East Khasi Hills police are on the lookout for the person/persons involved and said that action is being initiated.
Police said that the victim was a drug user and suspecting he had stolen materials from a construction site some persons, who are yet to be identified, tortured him.
