The Office of the Block Development Officer, Khliehriat C&RD Block will organise a SHG mela and health camp to celebrate Meghalaya 50 years of statehood on October 12 at the Deputy Commissioner office campus.
The objective of the event is to generate greater awareness on Poverty Alleviation Programme under NRLM through social mobilization of the poor rural women into SHG and linked them to a formal financial institution and awareness to the participants on health Services and to reassert the importance of maintaining COVID appropriate behaviour, especially during the festive season.
The office has also requested the people of the district to take part in the programme so as to obtain more knowledge and information about enrollment/ registration and formation of SHG, MHIS Smart- Card Registration, Aadhaar Card enrolment, Schemes under Fisheries Department, and SHG products.
