The Jingïaseng Samla, Nongsawlia Presbyterian Church Sohra today organised a cleaning drive in collaboration with the NYKS Shillong, as citizens and members of the community together stepped forward to make the environment plastics free.
The program Clean India or the Swachh Bharat was conducted by Kyntiewlang Nongrum and Ri-ïalam Lynnong, NYV of Shella Block. In this program Rev. R.F Kharkrang and the Chairman of the Jingïaseng Samla along with the young members of Church were present.
Participants at the cleaning drive also pledge to make India Clean and green again.
