The Shillong College NCC unit today paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri at the college conference hall.
Principal of the college, Dr E. Kharkongor and Vice Principal Prof. K. Dutta Roy Captain B. P. Tripathi reminded the gathering of the important values and principles of Gandhi.
Kharkongor also stressed on the importance of NCC cadets in nation building and also inspired the crowd to follow and take the example of Gandhi and wished the cadets for the best and hopeful future.
A short quiz was held in which both teachers and students took part in actively.
