North-Eastern Hill University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Prabha Shankar Shukla paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and the Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC) in New Delhi yesterday.
The Secretary, Department of Higher Education expressed his happiness at the visit while the Chairman, UGC extended his full support to NEHU.
It may be mentioned that Prof. Shukla took over charge of the office of the Vice-Chancellor from the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Prof. S K Srivastava on July 27.
