The Directorate of Health Services has warned the public, especially pharmacists, to be wary of a website that purports to be of the ‘State Pharmacy Council’.
The fake website (www.mgpharmacycouncil.com) contains misleading information pertaining to office bearers, registration fees, etc, to entice and deceive the public, the Registrar of the real Meghalaya Pharmacy Council said in a press release today.
The website has been amateurishly designed. For example, it claims that the Registrar is one BL Hek but the corresponding photograph appears to resemble Union minister Kiren Rijiju.
