The Principal in-charge of Lady Keane College, R Decruse, has contradicted the Health Department, which listed a person who died of Covid-19 as a resident of the college compound.
Milan Sukla Baidya (50) died on Monday in Shillong Civil Hospital of Covid-19 pneumonia and was listed in yesterday’s Health Department update as a resident of the Lady Keane College compound.
In an email today, Decruse said that Baidya was “neither an employee nor resident” of the college and the information was therefore misleading.
