Mylliem MLA Hamletson Dohling today visited Nongkseh and donated 30 sacks of rice and other essential commodities, including raincoats, gloves, masks and sanitisers to the volunteers and Covid team in the area.
Nongkseh, in Upper Shillong, has been clamped with a containment order after 39 cases and three fatalities linked to Covid-19 were reported in the area recently. The containment order came into effect on May 13 and will last until May 23.
