The East Jaiñtia Hills Deputy Commissioner today announced that the Covid-19 coordination committees for each Assembly constituency have been reactivated, in keeping with an order received from the Health and Family Welfare Department.
They have been reactivated in order to support the mobilization of target groups for Covid-19 vaccination and the need to maximize sensitization on behavioural change management and Covid appropriate behaviour. The committee will also ensure proper containment measures during the surge in cases in the district.
