Shillong, Aug 29: The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills has invited proposals from NGOs, clubs and SHGs of the district for financial assistance under Chief Minister’s Youth Development Scheme (CMYDS).
Activities covered include youth programmes, adventure programmes, youth awareness, cleaning drives coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti, workshops, seminars on youth issues, counselling etc.
Assistance will depend on the merit of the proposal. The DC said proposals will be scrutinised by the District Level Screening Committee and its decision will be final.
Interested groups have been urged to submit proposals in plain paper with programme details, objectives, registration certificate and budget estimates to the District Planning Office on or before September 18, 2026.
