Nongpoh, May 7: A talented young artist from the Ri-Bhoi region, Khambiangbor Lyngdoh, has proudly showcased his artistic talent through a solo art exhibition held at the Nongpoh Town Shopping Complex.
The exhibition was officially inaugurated by Nongpoh MLA Mayralborn Syiem in the presence of Balakyntiew Umbah, president of the Ri-Bhoi Area Welfare Association, school students, family members and well-wishers.
Each painting displayed carried its own unique story and message, while the artworks were also made available for sale at affordable prices.
Speaking on the occasion, Lyngdoh shared that his passion for art began at a very young age. Over the years, he participated in numerous competitions and won several awards for his talent. After completing his Class 12 education, he further pursued his passion by studying Bachelor of Fine Arts courses in Arunachal Pradesh and later in Tripura to enhance his artistic skills.
The young artist extended special thanks to the Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi District for granting permission to hold the exhibition at the Nongpoh Town Shopping Complex, as well as to the MLA, friends and supporters who came forward to encourage him.
