Mawkyrwat, Sep 15: An anti-rabies vaccination drive for dogs and cats will be conducted across all veterinary dispensaries under South West Khasi Hills district from September 22 to September 26.
The vaccination drive is being organised by the Meghalaya Veterinary Services Association (MVSA), West Khasi Hills District Unit, in collaboration with the office of the animal husbandry and veterinary office in the district and sub-divisional levels.
The programme will be conducted between 10 and 2 pm daily on all five days.
The initiative is being held as part of the World Rabies Day 2025 celebration, with the aim of creating awareness and ensuring the prevention of rabies in the community.
