South Garo Hills district police arrested at least five persons accused for involvement in robbery at Siju Rewak village.
The arrested persons are from Gabil area in East Garo Hills district. They are Sixbath Sangma (21), Nengman G Momin (20), Tangseng Arengh (20), Grikjang S Sangma (19) and Tengbirth G Momin (20).
Police said the arrest was made today after information was received on their alleged involvement in the robbery that took place a week ago. Four mobile phones were seized from their possession.
