The court of the Judicial Magistrate First Class (J), East Khasi Hills awarded 11 month simple imprisonment to a man for stealing a motorcycle on December 1.
In a complaint to the police at Rynjah police station on December 21, 2021, a resident stated that his green and black motorcycle FZ bearing registration number ML-05J2756 was stolen.
On his complaint, a case was registered and investigated by UBSI Tenghphan N Sangma. The police arrested Rocky Pala from Mookyrdup village in West Jaiñtia Hills district for stealing the motorcycle.
The case was charge sheeted on January 27, 2022 and was found guilty by the court.
