Shillong, Oct 27: Courtyard by Marriott Shillong celebrated the fourth edition of its annual cake mixing ceremony on October 25, bringing together government dignitaries, prominent socialites and influencers from across the state to mark the beginning of the festive season.
The ceremony celebrated the cherished tradition of cake mixing, where an assortment of dried fruits, nuts and aromatic spices is combined and left to soak for approximately 45 days.
This carefully prepared mixture forms the foundation of rich, flavourful Christmas cakes, bringing together the warmth of tradition, the joy of sharing and the spirit of the festive season.
Guests participated in the festive activity, adding their own touch to a tradition that continues to bring people together year after year.
