The Patharkhmah Youth Club and Social Welfare Organisation will hold a week-long celebration to welcome the New Year with a variety of events.
The celebration commenced yesterday with an inaugural function which was attended by Jirang MDC, Victor Rani, Western Ri Bhoi Dorbar President Anias Rani, Patharkhmah headman Petalman Thangkhiew and others.
The event aims to provide a platform for the village’s talented youth of Patharkhmah.
The grand finale will be held on January 9 that will also feature performances by singer Wanjop Sohkhlet and other local artists. Additionally, the event will honour competition winners with certificates and mementoes.
